Rehearsal #6 - February 25, 2026 - Cascade Chorus

Good afternoon singers.

Thank you to the tenors and sopranos for providing light refreshments for our social time. It is good to see people getting to know each other better. I encourage you to sit beside different people in your section to get to know them as well.

Continue to review what we have spent time on, but feel free to listen/learn ahead on the other songs. This week we will focus on the whole group singing This is My Home, We Rise Again and Hymn to Freedom. We may spend some time on The Gift. I will then work with the women on the ladies-only songs, while the men can review their songs (they will do the same the week after).

A reminder again to refrain from wearing perfume/scented hairspray, hand lotion, etc. As well, you may find it useful to use the recording feature on your phones to tape parts of the rehearsal that would be helpful.
