Rehearsal #2 - Cascade Chorus - September 23, 2026

We made a lot of progress on four of our pieces tonight. Thank you for your concentrated effort! Tomorrow night vocal teacher/choral director Liana Savard will be with us at 7 pm to help us with our singing. Bring along the vowel handout (I'll have extras), and the pieces "Sweet Silent Night", "Lully, Lulla, Lullay" and as an extra - "The Irish Blessing", in case we are so amazing she has little advice to give!😉🎶

This week you can review:

- all of SWEET SILENT NIGHT

- the main part (not the countermelody) of STILL, STILL, STILL

- up to measure 47 of DING DONG MERRILY ON HIGH (but listen to the rest of it too)

- up to measure 64 of THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY (but listen to the rest of it too)

Next week is "Truth and Reconciliation Day". We will still have our rehearsal in the evening.

Sopranos and Altos - decide which time you prefer for your extra sectional on SATURDAY Oct. 17 am - 9 - 10:30 or 10:30 - noon.

Remember to listen to and save the practice tracks etc. sent on last week's email!

See (most of) you tomorrow evening!

In harmony,

Brenda
