Rehearsal #3 - Cascade Chorus - September 30, 2026
Good morning singers.
Last night we spent time in our sections practicing Sweet Silent Night, Still Still Still (just the first section, not the countermelody), Ding Dong Merrily on High and The Little Drummer Boy. This week focus on listening to/reviewing the last two songs. We will have sectionals next week to go over the same songs.
With two sections together, we also went over The Wexford Carol and started The World for Christmas - you can review these if you have time, but again, focus on the Ding Dong,,,, and Drummer Boy.
Upcoming (for those who can make it...if not, please listen to the recordings that will be made and sent to you)
SECTIONALS: Fri. Oct. 16th - Baritones @ 6:00pm -7:30, Tenors @ 7:30 - 9
Sat. Oct. 17 - Altos @ 9 am- 10:30, Sopranos @ !0:30 - 12
Let's continue to focus on listening to each other as we try to match vowel sounds for better blend. If you'd like to review, here is one of many helpful videos:
Sending wishes for speedy recovery for all our singers with colds/flus and hoping everyone else can stay healthy! Until next week...
