Rehearsal #4 - Cascade Chorus - October 7, 2026

Good morning singers.

Last night I asked you to put aside two pieces - "The World For Christmas" and "A Winter Wish". We will revisit these pieces soon (BOTH for next Christmas concert and "A Winter Wish" for our spring concert. We will keep these pieces in our folders, and you can listen and learn ahead if you'd like.

Next week we will sing DING.... DRUMMER.... STILL... and WEXFORD together, then break into sectionals, where you will practice VARIATIONS ON FA LA LA and anything else that needs attention, as noted in your previous sectionals. I will then be continuing PAT A PAN and BELIEVE. Thanks again to our section leaders Jill, Robin, Doreen and Brian, and section musicians Jill, Leila, Barb and Brian.

Our sectional practices are coming up:

FRIDAY 16th @ 6-7:30 = baritone, then 7:30 - 9 = tenors

SATURDAY 17th @ 9-10:30 am = altos, then 10:30- noon = sopranos

These rehearsals will be recorded for those who aren't able to attend and for everyone else to review.

And a reminder:

WEDNESDAY 21st: shorter rehearsal & social time with Baritones & Sopranos bringing a small sweet or savory snack to share.

A new date for our calendar for those able to attend, as mentioned last night:

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21 - full choir 7- 8 pm.
